APPROVAL OF THE GUITAR ARTIST RESIDENCY GRANT APPLICATION FOR GULF GATE, ALTA VISTA, FRUITVILLE, TUTTLE, AND BRENTWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $4,675 will allow fourth grade students at Gulf Gate, Alta Vista, Fruitville, Tuttle, and Brentwood Elementary Schools to work with a guitar artist to learn about the science of sound and play a guitar they build themselves.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Guitar Artist Residency grant application.
